Hello Painters, First, let me take care of business! We have a new West Mobile Phone Number: 251-343-2423. And when you call, I will answer it personally or call you back asap! I am really looking forward to helping you fulfill your creative dreams. Our other number will still reach us for a short while, but please make a note of this change and tell all your friends, too. It is all part of our July theme. Independence! Let's celebrate some independence this July! One of our wonderful artist, Janie Brown has recreated the Fireworks Show over Mobile Bay in this beautiful painting. The glitter paint adds just the right sparkle. It is a must for any Fourth of July Celebration. |

With our beautiful Gulf Coast fighting for its survival, painting local scenes and wildlife from photographs helps to remind us how important it is to preserve the areas natural beauty. King of the Cove and Daisy a Day are two perfect examples. My husband pointed out to me, on our way to the beach, that Jimmy Buffet may have predicted the future in one of his songs, "All those tourists covered with oil", has now become an unpleasant reality. Let's hope that we will return to beach paradise very soon. This one's for you, Jimmy - Parrot Paradise. If you have a photograph that you would like to recreate as a painting, just email or bring it by the studio and I will be more than happy to accommodate you. |

Christmas in July is every Monday night, but, of course, you can choose any painting you want to paint on any night! Show your creative independence and paint what YOU love. Check out the July Calendar and our updated Gallery for some great painting ideas or bring us one of yours. The 1st Kids Art Camp was a huge success and a lot of fun. We love to see all those smiling faces!! We have TWO MORE SESSIONS scheduled for July 12th and July 19th. Many of the kids are coming back for more artistic fun. The summer months leave lots of time to spend with our kids. We hope you and the kids will take a break from the heat and stop in at the studio and paint together. Call to order your presketched canvas on 16 x 20 for $25.00 or an 11 x 14 canvas panel for $15.00. We have many other size canvases available as well. We are open for walk- ins, too.
